A seeminly random drive-by shooting in Long Beach, CA goes

- A must read! This book had me from the first page. I could not put it down, but I also did not want to finish it and have it be over. The characters became like old friends and I was anxious to read what would happen next. I love a good murder mystery and this book ranks up there with any James Patterson novel! - I bought Teaching Collette a while back and planned to read it on holiday...but I was tempted by the first few pages.....I never laid the book down from that point until I had finished the novel, I even took it to the loo!

It is a great read, very believable and cleverly written to draw you on and on, and at a really steady pace. There are no dull moments, I was captivated throughout, and he has a great talent for writing a tale, from love, drama, sex to sad twists and some tears.

I can relate to the author/Nick Jericho in many ways, but I'd love to have the author’s talent. I have often looked into the mirror and thought....”my eyes were like maraschino cherries in a glass of buttermilk."

Forego a beer with Nick Jericho and Harvey at the bar, save the bucks for a blindingly good read..Teaching Collette is a must buy book. (Andy Hageman, June 11, 2008)
